Automations and repost lists
Build flows that publish from a folder or feed, draft posts with AI or reply to comments, with approvals, and rotate evergreen posts.
Automations take the repeat work off your plate: publishing from a folder or a feed, drafting posts with AI on a schedule, answering comments, and bringing evergreen posts back round. They live under Automations in the sidebar, and both kinds are in beta.
There are two kinds:
- Automations (flows): a chain of steps you build from a starting point, such as "when a new RSS entry appears, write a post, wait for approval, then publish".
- Repost lists: a rotation of evergreen posts that republishes one of them on the days and times you choose.
Create an automation
- Open Automations and select New automation.
- Choose what the automation is for:

- Pick one of the starting points (presets) for that goal. Everything after this is editable.
- The flow opens in the builder. Flows run from left to right; select a step to open its settings. Right-click a step to configure, duplicate or delete it, and right-click a connection to delete it.
- Choose the destination channels, and add an approval step anywhere you want a person to check the result before it goes further.
- Select Preview run to see what the flow would produce. Nothing is posted or saved during a preview, although feed steps fetch their sources and AI steps can use AI credits.
- Select Create (or Save changes on a flow you are editing). Saving checks the flow and shows a summary; confirm it to turn the automation on.
Approvals
When a flow reaches an approval step, the run waits. Waiting runs are listed under Automations, on the Waiting for approval tab, and in your notifications. Open one to see what the flow produced, then approve it to let the run continue, or reject it.
An approval step is optional for most flows, including replies to comments: add one if you want to read each reply before it is posted. Flows that pull content in from Notion, Slack or Google Drive must include an approval step. Replying works on X, Facebook, Instagram and Threads.
Repost lists
A repost list is for posts that stay true: an introduction, a how-to, a frequently asked question, a standing offer. It republishes them in rotation so your channels keep a baseline of activity in weeks when nothing new is written.
Repost lists are included from the Ultra plan.
- Open Automations, choose the Repost lists tab, and select New repost list.
- Choose the channels it publishes to and the days and time it runs, for example Tuesday and Friday at 09:30.
- Select Add post, write the post, and confirm with Add to rotation. Each post has its own text and media.
- The list shows how many posts are in rotation and when the next run is. The schedule starts once the list has at least one post.
Each run publishes the next post in the rotation. You can edit or delete a post in the list at any time; deleting it removes it from the rotation, and posts it already published stay where they are. To stop a list for a while, choose Pause repost list in the list's menu (the three dots); to retire it, choose Archive repost list in the same menu.
Plan limits
Each plan includes a number of automations: 1 on Basic, 7 on Pro and 15 on Ultra. AI steps use the workspace's AI budget, which admins can see in Settings, AI.
Tips
- Start with an approval step. Run a new flow with an approval step for a week or two, then remove it once you trust what it produces.
- Keep repost lists fresh. Review the rotation every month or two and retire posts that have dated.
- Pair them. A repost list keeps a baseline going; an automation from your blog or newsletter feed adds the new material.
